If you'd care to give me a direct link I'd be happy to read them.

I did see OME's concern about commercial fishing in the one episode of Treasure Quest I watched. They seemed to be upset that a commercial fishing net threatened the secret location of a submarine they'd found.

This is a little like looters of Mayan antiquities being upset because local villagers destroyed valuable artifacts while clear cutting for a farm. Either way valuable history is lost. For example, one of Captain Marvel's most popular characters was his sidekick Mr. Tawny, a six-foot tiger in a tweed jacket and slacks. Ideas that really shouldn't have worked, like Mr. Mind and Mr. Tawny, helped make The Adventures of Captain Marvel the best selling comic of the 1940s.

I didn't even cover the fact that when DC bought the Fawcett Comics characters they resurrected Mr. Mind by saying he was just in suspended animation after his electrocution. They had him recreate the Monster Society, then get thrown back through time to the 1840s, where he conquered a couple of galaxies, and most recently he was responsible for screwing up the new multiverse by eating parts of it. Not bad for a tiny little worm.

Another funny thing about him is that he is carrying a tiny 1930s looking tube radio around his "neck" that he uses as an amplifier, since his voice is whisper quiet. I've never understood how it stayed around him with no shoulders.

T.
